HAPPY ENDINGS ~~  

    ~ Macy and Captain were the second and third cats to come out of the colony.  They are sisters with Macy being captured one night and Captain the next.  I cannot tell you how delighted Macy was when I put her sister in her cage that second night.  It was wonderful to see.  Going through the socialization process with these two was a great experience.  Watching them learn to play, not to be afraid of every sound where they are not sure if it is something or someone with the potential desire of harming them.  As they learned to trust me more, they became two of my biggest fans.  Particularly Macy, who would sit on the floor and watch me for as long as she could stay awake.  I hated so much to part with them.  They were placed together with a wonderful family in Champaign.  Once cleaned, groomed and fully grown, they turned out to be two very beautiful cats with gorgeous markings and long fur.  They are dearly loved by their family and it is obvious they return the love.
